Sadie Sink is the face of the new Stella McCartney collection
The series of Sadie sink photoshoot for Stranger Things made its young actors real superstars. If, after the very first episodes, Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown were the most popular, then the fourth season finally made the audience fall in love with Sadie Sink and made them strongly empathize with the fate of her heroine. While Wolfhard is making his directorial debut and Bobby Brown is signing contracts with Louis Vuitton, their colleague is also not sitting idle and boasting no less success outside the project. For example, Sadie has already managed to play in the short film All Too Well the song by Taylor Swift., which was filmed by the singer herself. The new collaboration of the actress is not related to the cinema but also has a special meaning for her.
Sadie sink photoshoot in winter
Sink has become the face of the new winter collection of the British luxury brand Stella McCartney. WWD reports that the ad campaign was filmed in an open-air exhibition space in the small town of Montauk on the south coast of Long Island. On the other side of the lens was fashion photographer Theo Wenner, who has extensive experience creating covers and photo shoots for Rolling Stone magazine with Harry Styles, Lana Del Rey, Jennifer Lawrence, Adele, and many other celebrities. Sadie posed among natural landscapes, the surroundings of a sandy beach and a farm with horses, as well as against the backdrop of sculptures by Frank Stella.
Fashion designer Stella McCartney admitted that recently it was the unusual work of the American artist that served as a source of inspiration for her. When designing her new line, she took the riot of colors from postmodernist rebellious collages and transferred them to knitwear, all-over print suits, bright shirts, and dresses. And the angles and diagonal stripes, which are constantly traced in the artist’s work, are reflected in graphic patterns on faux fur coats and knitted jumpers.
As in other Sadie sink photoshoot collections of the McCartney brand, the items from the new capsule do not contain animal skin and fur. The designer was brought up in a family of eco-activists, therefore she promotes environmental protection and strives to use only “green” materials in her production.
This time, a whole range of innovative fabrics was presented – from environmentally friendly viscose to organic cotton. Sink, by the way, shares this outlook on life. Five years ago, the actress gave up animal products and switched to a vegan diet.
She was inspired to change her eating habits, among other things by her Glass Castle co-star Woody Harrelson, who has been on a plant-based diet for over 30 years.
