Queen Letizia with a Sevillian signature headdress at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Letizia has once again trusted one of her fetish signatures –especially when it comes to headdresses– to attend the state funeral that was held this morning in London in memory of Queen Elizabeth II. The cap, a pillbox inevitably reminiscent of those usually worn by Jackie Kennedy, is from the Sevillian firm Cherubini. The monarch has also opted for a sober Carolina Herrera dress, black Manolo Blahnik stilettos, and her famous Chanel feather earrings that she has worn on so many other occasions.

With her hair loose, the cap with an enveloping veil is one of her fetish signatures. The first time she wore one of the headdresses of this firm led by Ana García and her sister Lucía, it was also in London, at the Order of the Garter ceremony in 2019. Precisely at that event, she was photographed with Queen Elizabeth II and other British royals. Without a doubt, one more nod to a Spanish firm that she has worn in many other international events, such as during her official trip to Sweden in which she wore a red headband headdress that is also part of her history of distinctive looks.
