Boltad receives the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award from the MBFW

The MBFW (Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid), which is being held in the Spanish capital this week, has just presented the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award in its 20th edition to Boltad Brand, the firm created by Alberto Martín Pozo.

The Suddenly Freezes collection, presented this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. at IFEMA, was the one that awarded the designer from Badajoz the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award for this edition. It is a proposal in which he captures the plastic and conceptual development of the idea of noisy silence, a concept that forms part of the firm’s DNA. “It is inspired by the feeling of silence that sometimes accompanies the most intense feelings such as anxiety or euphoria”, they explain the firm.

This collection was made from fabrics rescued from factory remnants, defective, recycled, and to which the designer has given a new life by drawing patterns or drawings on it using an airbrush.

Thus, the designs presented show garments of urban nature that draw attention, especially to those belonging to Generation Z. “It is an ironic proposal that reflects on the main problems that affect young people today and how generational differences make it difficult to understand them, creating picturesque situations in which the protagonist is forced to find a way exhaust”, says its designer.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent jury, made up of authentic professionals from the world of fashion, highlights the positive energy that radiates from the collection. “It is a vibrant collection that has been able to combine experimentation and innovation with a great commercial vision”, they settle.
